UK Trade Mission to Doha

A UK trade mission of 16 companies is visiting Qatar from 4 – 7 March 2012. Links Group will be hosting a networking session and sharing our expertise on the opportunities arising from Qatar’s needs as it progresses toward hosting the 2022 FIFA World Cup and the Qatar National Vision 2030.

The mission is led by The Middle East Association, the UK’s premier organisation for promoting trade and relations with the Middle East and North Africa, in co-operation with the British Embassy, Doha and UK Trade & Investment.

The Trade Mission focuses upon building business links between British companies and Qatari partners, as the State prepares for mass infrastructure development in the build up to the 2022 FIFA World Cup and in accordance with the Qatar National Vision 2030. The delegation will have meetings with a range of organisations including the Lusail Visitors’ Centre, The Qatar Rail Company, The Public Works Authority, The New Port Project, the Msheireb Enrichment Centre and the Qatar 2022 Supreme Committee. Networking sessions were kindly hosted by the Qatar British Business Forum, The Links Group and Clyde & Co.
