The Links Group launches authenticated legal translation service in accordance with new UAE bylaw

Leading company formation expert The Links Group has extended its service offering with the addition of authenticated legal translation and stamping. The move follows the recent passing of a new Federal bylaw requiring non-Emirati legal translators to have five years of experience before they can practise.

In an effort to expedite the preparation of any dual language English and Arabic documentation or contracts required under UAE Companies Law, The Links Group has appointed a duly recognised and accredited legal translator to oversee this service.

The Links Group legal translation service includes official authentication and stamping as required by the UAE Ministry of Justice, an activity typically outsourced by many legal translation or professional services companies. The Links Group says this will deliver a seamless and timely service to its clients while also minimising the risk for translation errors.

“We recognise the underlying purpose of the new Federal bylaw is to improve the standard and quality of legal translation in the UAE. Minimising the risk of translation errors and ensuring that our clients can be certain of accuracy in their contractual arrangements is of paramount importance to all stakeholders of The Links Group. Our turnkey legal translation service not only meets our clients’ expectations in this regard, but also creates new efficiencies for our business,” said John Martin St. Valery, founding partner, The Links Group.

Recognised regionally and internationally as the company formation expert in the UAE, The Links Group was the first company of its kind to be endorsed by the Government of Dubai through a strategic alliance with the Foreign Investment Office (FDI) of the Dubai Economic Department. Since its founding in 2002, the company has continued to introduce government support services that make it quicker and easier for foreign companies to manage their onshore presence in the UAE.

“As a preferred partner of Dubai FDI it is important that every service we introduce supports the vision of the UAE leadership while helping to make the country more attractive to foreign investors. Making it easy to do business here plays a big part in this mission,” added Martin St. Valery.

The Links Group legal translation service is now available to clients and the wider market, including those professional service firms with whom The Links Group has an affinity partnership.
